Growing up, I sometimes struggled with school. The reason for this, is that I was always afraid to ask for help, and was too shy to admit that I even needed help at all. Knowing how it felt to want help, I feel that I make tutoring a much easier task and make it a more comfortable experience for those who need my help. My strongest area in schooling is writing and grammar; anything to do with english in general. I received a superior ACT score in english and writing sections. I have written a series of children's short stories, as well as two full-length screenplays. I am also strong in history and performing arts. I have helped to tutor my younger sister, as well as friends and acquaintances throughout my high school and college career. I am very encouraging, and like to be able to help people learn.
